Michael started as an apprentice with his uncle, a master carpenter and furniture maker. Though he expanded to include other business ventures he has always kept his hand in wood working. He started MJB Furniture Restoration over  18 years ago in Vancouver and has recently moved our base to the Oceanside area of Vancouver Island. Over the years he has researched and worked with new materials and environmentally friendly methods so he can offer the best solutions available while maintaining the old world approach to quality.
